New Delhi: The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the successful launch of PSLV-C36/Resourcesat-2A into polar Sun Synchronous Orbit.
In a message to Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar, Chairman of ISRO, the President has said, “I extend my heartiest congratulations to you and the entire team at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of PSLV-C36/Resourcesat-2A into polar Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
I understand that PSLV-C36/Resourcesat-2A is intended to continue remote sensing data services to global users. The fact that for the first time a camera was put on the rocket which helped in viewing the launch of the satellite and deployment of solar panels is laudable.
Kindly convey my best wishes and felicitations to the members of your team of scientists, engineers, technologists and all others associated with this mission. I wish the ISRO continued success in the coming years”.
