New Delhi: The President of India, Shri Ram NathKovind, graced and addressed the 8th convocation of NIT Patna in Patna, Bihar.
Speaking on the occasion, the President said the research at NIT Patna should aim at resolving various problems of the people of Bihar and the country. He urged the NIT graduates to partner agricultural scientists and collaborate with farmers to help enhance productivity and incomes.
Earlier in the day, the President visited Pusa, Samastipur to address the first convocation of the Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University.
Addressing the students, the President noted that there are immense opportunities for agricultural scientists to contribute to the agro-development of the country.
