In a message to Her Excellency Dr. Michelle Bachelet Jeria, the President of the Republic of Chile, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you, the Government and the people of Chile on the occasion of your National Day.
India and Chile enjoy warm and friendly bilateral relations. Our convergence of views on many international issues of common interest brings our two nations even closer. We share a commitment to democracy, distributive justice and empowerment of women. I am confident that the enhanced level of our bilateral cooperation in recent years will further strengthen our mutual understanding and multifaceted ties.
