New Delhi: The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Paraguay on the eve of their National Day.
In a message to His Excellency Mr. Horacio Manuel Cartes Jara, the President of the Republic of Paraguay, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the Government and people of Paraguay on the occasion of your National Day.
Relations between our two countries have been cordial and constructive. I am confident that our close ties will be further intensified and diversified in the coming years. The early expansion of India-MERCOSUR PTA Trade Agreement will open up new opportunities in trade and investments relations – to the benefit of our two peoples.
I avail this opportunity to extend my best wishes for your good health and well-being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Paraguay”.
