New Delhi: The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the King and the people of Spain on the eve of their National Day (October 12, 2016).
In a message to His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and people of India, and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm felicitations to Your Majesty and to the people of Spain on the occasion of your National Day.
Relations between India and Spain have gained fresh momentum in recent years and even expanded to newer areas of collaboration. This year marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between our two countries – a significant landmark in our bilateral partnership. We look forward to further enhancing and strengthening our warm and friendly ties for the benefit of our two countries and our people.
