Yogi Adityanath sat down for an exclusive freewheeling chat with The Quint’s Editorial Director Sanjay Pugalia, wherein he highlighted various reforms taken by his government for the betterment of Uttar Pradesh, and addressed a host of issues facing the state.
From loan waiver to farmers to the controversial Ayodhya issue to cow vigilantism, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister took questions on them all.
On the dispute over the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi, Adityanath assured there would be a democratic settlement. The five-time MP from Gorakhpur, who has completed over seven months in power, said that he is confident of a “respectable decision” by the Supreme Court soon.

He said Ayodhya’s development will give a big boost to the state’s tourism, adding that his government is exploring areas “where religious heritage and ecological tourism can be boosted”.
