Dehradun: Secretary, Ayush Department, Union Government, Mr. Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, held a courtesy meeting with Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM residence. Mr. Kotecha held discussions with the Chief Minister regarding the visit of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to Dehradun on coming June 21 and preparations of the Yoga Day. Chief Minister said that on the occasion of the Yoga Day, the visit of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to Dehradun is a very proud occasion for the people of Uttarakhand. He said that efforts would be made in the direction that more and more number of people should attend the coming Yoga Day. He said that on this occasion, “Walk For Yoga” would be organized, in which there would be participation of officers of the government-administration, ministers and MLAs. Along with it, efforts would be made to ensure the participation of institutes of the state associated with Yoga, educational institutions, students, government and Non Government Organizations and all the sections of the society. Chief Minister said that special emphasis would have to be laid on the mass awareness regarding the Yoga Day programme. He said that in this campaign broadcast, the role of the media would be very significant.
