Losing one’s dad can be extremely difficult because one loses a source of strength, stability and consistency in one’s life. It is the time when close friends come forward and try to comfort and embrace, thus helping to deal with the loss. Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan (accompanied by Bunty Walia ) attended the funeral of actor Nikhil Dwivedi’s father on Tuesday evening. Both the stars, who share a great bonding with Nikhil, consoled the ‘My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves’ actor by being at his side when he was going through the emotional turmoil.
Nikhil Dwiedi is an actor turned producer. Apart from his debut film, ‘ My Name is Anthony Gonsalves’ in 2008 he has acted in four other films that include Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan,’ which also has Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Balaji Telefilms production’s ‘Shor in the City’ alongside Tusshar Kapoor, Vivek Agnihotri’s “Hate Story” which has been his most commercially successful film and lastly ‘Tamanchey’ with Richa Chadda, which is said to be his best film so far.
Nikhil will soon be co-producing the much talked about film ‘ Veere Di Wedding’ which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor and Shikha Talsania. The two other producers for the film are Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea Kapoor and producer Ekta Kapoor.
