Sharvari’s got a Batman vs Superman connection in Munjya!

Sharvari has been ruling people’s heart with her performance as well as breath-taking dance number Taras in her hit film Munjya. She has now been voted as the second most popular celebrity in India as Munjya becomes a blockbuster success story! No one knows this but in Munjya Sharvari has a massive connection with epic superhero films like Batman vs Superman, Justice League, to name a few!

Munjya is based on a Maharashtrian folklore and the ghost in the film is an incredibly designed CGI character that has wowed people thoroughly. The CGI character has been put together by one of the top Hollywood VFX companies in the world named DNEG headed by Brad Minnich. They have previously worked on the above mentioned big Hollywood hits.

Sharvari reveals, “My producer Dinesh Vijan and my director Aditya Sarpotdar had an insanely massive aim to deliver a theatrical experience like no other through Munjya. They were clear that the CGI character needed to wow people and Dinesh sir went to the best VFX company to fulfil their vision. I was blown when I saw the CGI character in the film and the audience are feeling the same too which is why our film is such a huge blockbuster.”

She adds, “While shooting the film, we only had a reference of what the CGI character will be like but when I saw the final avatar, it was an incredible feeling. This character has won people over. Brad (Minnich) has done an exceptional job and I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked so closely with him at this stage in my career. It was a thoroughly enriching experience.”

She further shares, “Brad was on set every day and he used to have detailed discussions with Aditya sir. I actually enjoyed listening to their conversations and absorbing as much as possible. It in a way helped me understand Munjya better.”

The film has done extremely well at the box office and has collected 64.75cr as of yesterday (Tuesday, 18th July’24)
