Tamil Nadu’s Governor Banwarilal Purohits vehicle met with a minor accident while moving from Pudhukottai to Trichy on Friday. While they were on the way to Trichy, a government transport bus brushed governor’s car.
One of the videos evidently shows the scratch marks on the side of the Innova car that the governor was travelling in. Governor Banwarilal Purohit was in Pudhukottai today and his visit had created a lot of hue and cry from the states opposition DMK.
Purohits review meetings of officials which he conducts while visiting districts, has been opposed widely by political parties in the state. On Friday, more than 500 DMK cadres who showed black flag to the governor were taken into custody.
Governors review meetings have been objected by the DMK and other opposition parties as they claim it interferes in the states federalism. By India Today
