Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao meets Karunanidhi, MK Stalin in Chennai

Telangana Chief Minister and Chief of Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) today met Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam
(DMK) Chief Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence in Chennai.

TRS President also held a detailed discussion on the current political situation of the country with party’s working president MK Stalin at his residence in Alwarpet plot Chennai during his visit.

The chief minister of Telangana who is meeting several regional party heads of the country with an idea of forming a non-Congress and a non-BJP front earlier also met Trinamool Congress (TMC) Chief Mamata Banerjee and Janata Dal (Secular) Chief and former prime minister HD Deve Gowda.

Continuing his efforts, KCR on Sunday reached Chennai along with TRS General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP K Kesava Rao, state Finance Minister Etela Rajendar and party MP B Vinod.

From Chennai airport, KCR directly drove to DMK President’s residence at Gopalapuram while later DMK working president MK Stalin hosted him at lunch at his Alwarpet residence where both the leaders discussed several issues related to 2019 general election.

Chief Minister KCR is scheduled to return to Hyderabad on Monday.

Meanwhile, on May 2, Uttar Pradesh former Chief Minister and Samajwadi party President Akhilesh Yadav is expected to meet KCR.

Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to travel to Bhubaneswar where he will meet and hold a meeting with Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Chief and Odisha CM Naveen Patnayak over a federal front.
