Snowstorms in the UK have disrupted travel services and power supply all across the region. Police authorities have also warned commuters against hazardous weather conditions.
According to reports, about 30,000 homes were without power in parts of the UK out of which electricity was restored to at least 25,000 homes by Tuesday.
M1 motorway was also blocked for several hours because of a lorry crash. Flights were suspended twice at London’s Stansted airport in order to clear snow.
The snowstorm also caused several flight delays. Nearly 30 Ryanair flights have been cancelled due to runway closure.
According to media reports, heavy snowfall is expected till Friday. Some experts are forecasting conditions to improve in coming days as the snowstorm now heads eastward. People took to social media to complain about the delay in flights and the inconvenience faced.

Meanwhile EZY063 is 6 hours late taking off because you only have one deicing facility and the aircraft need to queue to use it. 6 hours because of a light snowfall is ludicrous.
