Dehradun: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Travel XP organized a Press Conference on Friday with the vision to promote tourism in the state. Rajya Sabha Member Chief Guest Mr Naresh Bansal and Miss Asia World also Special Guest Ms Anukriti Gusain were present during the event. The officials of the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) appreciated the initiative with the motive to promote the state’s tourism nationally and internationally.
Addressing everyone, Chief Guest Mr Naresh Bansal said that the state Government and Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board are continuously working to bring state tourism at the world map. The influx of tourists in the state will increase through this film, which will also open up employment opportunities for the travellers, taxi drivers and local youth of the state. He said that tourism in Uttarakhand needs to be strengthened in the next five years. He also said that Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board has brought the concept of 13 districts, 13 destinations which will be a great success in near future.
Special guest Ms Anukriti Gusain, Miss Asia World said that there are many such destinations in Uttarakhand that can be presented on the global platform. She said that the identity of the state is from the women of Uttarakhand. She also said that more than 10 thousand women have been trained under her organization in making products from Ringal, Bhimal which is also making them self-sufficient.
Regional Director Travel XP Anil Taneja said “Uttarakhand Travel Diary is an important platform provided by Travel XP, which has reached in more than 50 countries. The travel diary will showcase the unseen treasures of the crowning glory of the Himalayan kingdom of Uttarakhand which will definitely attract quality tourists from the world and will present our state in a new light.
CEO, Travel XP Mr. Tanay Chathani said that the film has been made on the theme of “Uttarakhand Travel Diary” with an aim to promote tourism in the state. The film covers the beautiful and unseen places of the state and the film has been made in Hindi, English, Tamil and Bengali.
Director, Travel XP Mr Rohan said that this film has been made to promote the tourism of Uttarakhand. He said that 15 destinations of the state have been screened in this film which will be broadcasted in more than 50 countries in 16 languages from Friday 5th March at 7:30 pm. He said that 10 episodes of this film have been prepared in which he is accompanied by a dog named Hiller who will be seen exploring the beautiful places of Uttarakhand.
The expo was led by President Uttarakhand PHDCCI Virender Kalra and Uttarakhand Tourism Committee President Hemant Kochhar of State Chapter PHDCCI.
